Travel Grant Full-time Undergraduate, Northern Ireland Students
1. What is it?
It's a grant to help cover reasonable costs for travel for study-related periods abroad or medical and dental placement courses
It's only available to students on eligible courses. When you give your course information as part of your student finance application, we'll let you know if you can get a Travel Grant.
The quickest way to apply is to sign into your student finance account.
The amount of grant available is based on your household income.
Does it need to be paid back?
No - Travel grants do not have to be repaid, unless you're overpaid or leave your course early.
As part of your student finance agreement, you must keep us up to date with any changes to your course or personal details as these can affect your funding, including how much you have to repay and when.
