Full-time undergraduate students can now apply for 2022 to 2023 student finance!

28 February 2022

When should I apply?

It's important to apply early. To make sure you get your money in time for the start of your course, the deadline to apply is 8 April for new students and 24 June for continuing students. If you apply late, your money might be late too.

Remember, you do not need a confirmed place at university to make an application.

How should I apply?

The quickest and easiest way to apply is through your online account (opens in a new tab) and it only takes 30 minutes.

If you're a new student, you'll need to create an account with us when applying.

You may already have an account if you have applied for student finance before or received EMA (Education Maintenance Allowance). If so, you should use the same account details and CRN.

If you're a continuing student, you can re-apply on your online account (opens in a new tab).

EU students applying for tuition fee only support

Full-time EU applications for 2022 to 2023 are now open. If you qualify for a Tuition Fee Loan only, you should apply using the EU Student application form.

Part-time undergraduate and postgraduate Master's students

If you're a part-time undergraduate or postgraduate Master's student, it's too early to apply. These applications will be available in the summer.
