3. How much can I get?
The amount of loan you can get depends on your course fees
The only way to know exactly how much you'll get is to apply, but you could get up to £3,296.25
Example
If your university or college are charging you £3,296.25, you can borrow up to £3,296.25.
If they're charging £1,250, you can only borrow up to £1,250.

Tuition Fee Grant with a Tuition Fee Loan
You can also apply for a Tuition Fee Grant. If you're able to get both it can reduce the amount of loan you have to repay.
If your course costs more than the student finance you can get, you need to pay the difference
If the tuition fee charged by your university or college is more than the maximum student finance available to you, you'll need to pay the remaining amount to them directly.
Studying in England, Wales or Scotland
Student Finance NI offer funding to eligible EU students studying in Northern Ireland. If you're studying elsewhere in the UK, you need to apply through your home funding provider.
