4. Applying

Apply online, it's faster

The quickest way to apply is to sign into your student finance account. If you've had funding from us in the past you'll be able to use the same sign in details, if not you'll need to create an account.

If you cannot apply online

You can download a form using our form finder or speak to your local Student Finance NI (SFNI) office..

If your course is eligible for a Travel Grant we'll let you know

We'll send you a form to complete with further instructions.

Keep your travel receipts as you'll be asked to send evidence when you make a claim. 

Apply early

You can apply for a travel grant at any point during the academic year but the sooner your travel grant is confirmed, the sooner you can submit a claim.
