Tuition Fees
Students who started studying in 2006/07 or later - Tuition Fee Loans
You will be charged tuition fees of up to £3,465. You will be entitled to apply for a Tuition Fee Loan to the full value of your tuition fee cost.
This means that you won't have to find the money before or while you are studying. The fees will be paid directly to your university or college.
You will only pay back the loan when you have completed your studies and are earning above the repayment threshold of £15,795 per annum.
Students who started studying in 2005/06 or before - Grants for Tuition Fees
You will be charged tuition fees of up to £1,380. You may be entitled to a grant to pay all or part of your tuition fees, but the amount of help you can receive will depend on your household ‘residual income’ (your household income after certain deductions). If your tuition fees are greater than the grant you receive, you will be entitled to apply for a loan to cover the difference.
