The Student Finance Direct website will no longer be available after early February 2009. If you want to apply online for academic year 2008/09 you must make sure you have completed and submitted your application before 9am on Friday 6th February 2009.
You can still apply for student finance for academic year 2008/09 after this date by completing and returning a paper application form. Forms can be downloaded from www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance.
You will soon be able to apply for student finance for academic year 2009/10 online, also at www.direct.gov.uk/studentfinance.
